James Hill

James joined Boardwalk Financial Strategies as an intern in May 2021 and quickly became an asset to the team. He joined full time in September 2021. He believes in the value of creating simplicity, cohesion and a sense of empowerment when assisting clients with their finances. 

Now, as an Associate Wealth Manager, James supports advisors in meeting prep and follow up and does a myriad of back-office tasks to ensure everything keep runs smoothly and to facilitate a great client experience. 

Before joining Boardwalk, James worked for Goodwill Industries of SE Wisconsin as an ecommerce coordinator, facilitating the sale and shipping of donated musical instruments & audio equipment.

James grew up in Prospect Heights, IL, where his dad helped cultivate a fascination with personal finances. James graduated Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, graduating Cum Laude in 2017 with Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Religion. While at Carthage he competed on the Swim & Dive team as well as participating in numerous student organizations and musical groups.

James values his time with family and friends. While not at work, James enjoys a wide variety of interests, including reading, art, sports and Star Wars. He plays drums in his church worship band and guitar in his free time. James, his wife Emma and daughter Addie reside in Racine with their cat Winnie.
